As huge advocates of giving back and huge fans of Alex and Ani, we couldn’t help but fall in love with their Charity by Design collection. Each eco-friendly bangle from the CBD collection is absolutely adorable and 20% of sales from the specific piece go to the corresponding charity. This means you can choose to support a charity close to your heart and be stylish. That sounds pretty great to us!
Two of our favorites are the Hope and Ribbon of Strength Bangles, symbolizing awareness, hope, empowerment, strength, faith and courage. They are made just like other Alex and Ani pieces so the wearer can adjust the bangle, which can be customized with other jewelry, to fit perfectly.
Alex and Ani selected Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, a non-profit in Rhode Island, to donate 20% of their sales from these two bangles. We love their choice (not just because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!) and think using their bangles to raise awareness and educate people makes great (fashion) sense! They’re giving their customers a chance to impact the world with a simple purchase! So cool!
