And in those fifteen years, there’s been plenty of fabulous—and frightening—fashion. To celebrate SATC’s fifteenth anniversary, Her Campus is counting down Carrie Bradshaw’s fifteen most questionable fashion choices. From fur and florals to capes and kerchiefs, these fashion don’ts made us question not only Carrie’s judgment, but her style sanity as well.

Stop trying to make 1930’s-era shoe shiner-chic happen, Carrie. It’s not going to happen.

This picture proves that probably nobody should. And Carrie, didn’t we already discuss that hat?
5) Petrifying in Pink
We can only assume that those stiches down the front are from when someone tried to rip this jacket off of her.
4) Showgirl
This frilly frock belongs in one place only: back in Carrie’s costume box.
3) Thrift Shop
Great combinations: peanut butter and chocolate, eggs and bacon, burger and fries. Not a great combination: plaid and fur.
2) It’s Eclectic
Remember that time Carrie lost power in her apartment and had to get dressed in the dark? Yeah, neither do we. There goes any explanation we had for this outfit.
