Why​ ​did​ ​you​ ​want​ ​to​ ​join​ ​Her​ ​Campus​ ​York​ ​U?​ ​​

I​ ​love​ ​that​ ​Her​ ​Campus​ ​is​ ​a​ ​platform​ ​created by​ ​and​ ​for​ ​young​ ​women​ ​where​ ​they​ ​can​ ​have​ ​their​ ​voices​ ​represented,​ ​because​ ​there​ ​are​ ​not enough​ ​spaces​ ​like​ ​that​ ​on​ ​the​ ​Internet.​ ​I​ ​love​ ​writing​ ​and​ ​when​ ​I​ ​heard​ ​about​ ​the​ ​opportunity​ ​to relaunch​ ​Her​ ​Campus​ ​at​ ​York,​ ​I​ ​was​ ​really​ ​excited​ ​about​ ​the​ ​prospect​ ​of​ ​sharing​ ​my​ ​stories​ ​and ideas​ ​with​ ​other​ ​women​ ​my​ ​age,​ ​and​ ​being​ ​able​ ​to​ ​learn​ ​from​ ​women​ ​who​ ​are​ ​different​ ​than​ ​me.

What​ ​is​ ​your​ ​favourite​ ​thing​ ​about​ ​York​ ​U?​ ​​

My​ ​favourite​ ​thing​ ​about​ ​York​ ​is​ ​the​ ​sense​ ​of community​ ​on​ ​campus.​ ​Since​ ​my​ ​first​ ​day​ ​here,​ ​I’ve​ ​felt​ ​at​ ​home​ ​in​ ​this​ ​diverse​ ​community​ ​of young​ ​people​ ​who​ ​are​ ​passionate​ ​about​ ​knowledge​ ​and​ ​social​ ​justice​ ​and​ ​inclusivity.​ ​There​ ​are so​ ​many​ ​interesting​ ​and​ ​inspiring​ ​people​ ​who​ ​are​ ​part​ ​of​ ​the​ ​York​ ​community,​ ​and​ ​I​ ​am​ ​very proud​ ​to​ ​be​ ​a​ ​York​ ​Lion.

What​ ​is​ ​your​ ​dream​ ​career?​ ​​

 ​​I’d​ ​love​ ​to​ ​be​ ​a​ ​writer​ ​on​ ​a​ ​comedy​ ​TV​ ​show​ ​(like​ ​a​ ​sitcom​ ​or​ ​a variety​ ​show)!​ ​But​ ​honestly,​ ​I​ ​just​ ​want​ ​to​ ​be​ ​able​ ​to​ ​write.

After​ ​a​ ​long​ ​and​ ​busy​ ​week,​ ​what​ ​is​ ​your​ ​go-to​ ​activity​ ​for​ ​winding​ ​down?​ ​​

Binging​ ​my latest​ ​favourite​ ​series​ ​on​ ​Netflix (right now it’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

What’s​ ​your​ ​go-to​ ​coffee​ ​order?​ ​​

Americano,​ ​one​ ​cream,​ ​one​ ​sugar.

Finally,​ ​the​ ​most​ ​important​ ​question​ ​of​ ​all:​ ​favourite​ ​pizza​ ​toppings?​ ​​
