The hike to Chickies Rock and surrounding trails

This is one of the most breathtaking views of the Susquehanna River in Southern PA. It is not in York unfortunately, but it is a short drive on route 30 west, just over the bridge into Lancaster County (where I am from). So basically, it should be in York. The Lancaster County park has so many other trails, but if you go, you have to go to the view! I mean, just look at these pictures I found!
Rocky Ridge

I have never personally been here, but a few of my friends have, and it is very nice, again it is a York County park. You should at least check one out! Look! It has waterfalls, although you may need to do a little hiking to find them…
Apollo Park
https://yorkcountypa.gov/parks-recreation/the-parks/apollo-park.html
This is another park that I have not had the pleasure to explore, but that will be corrected soon, because I am travelling here soon to check it out for myself. There are awesome geologic formations to take in. My brother has been there and he said it was good, so it must be! I cannot wait to go! Maybe I will have a follow up post about my hikes during the fall, who knows?!
Enjoy these trails and breathtaking views in and around York County in this beautiful colors of fall as well as the weather. Plus this gives you something else to do when procrastinating school work!
