On Tuesday, September 26th, my dream finally came true! I had waited a whole year, and the moment was surreal.
Bruno Mars was finally coming to perform! I bought my tickets last year and talked about it every day since. (I know my friends and family were sick of me – but can you blame me? I mean, he is one sexy man!)
My cousin accompanied me and we had so much fun! My main goals for the concert was to lose my voice, go broke buying merchandise and enjoy watch Bruno [my husband] on stage.
He didn’t disappoint!
Dua Lipa opened for him. Can you say #KILLEDIT? She wore this black, white and gray jumpsuit and white sneakers. She gave me life when she performed New Rules – a song a recently heard and automatically fell in love with. I vowed to buy her album!
When he finally came out, the crowd went wild! He opened with one of my absolute favorites on his new album: Finesse. This song, to me, has this 90s vibe and I love every part of it. (I swore Teddy Riley helped produce the album or this song at the very least.)
Next, he kept us grooving with the one and only, 24K Magic!
He performed every song on the album and hit us with some classics like Grenade and Locked Out of Heaven.
This concert had me dancing and sweating all throughout. I didn’t want to sit down – but I had to because I was wearing heels, trying to be cute! Nevertheless, I suffered through it. Every song was a banger and I couldn’t help standing up and getting into it!
His boys did an amazing job, as well. He took two breaks and let the drummer and piano player take us away. The guy that played the piano had us all mesmerized, he played so beautifully!
I would like to take this time to thank his parents for giving the world an amazingly talented and gorgeous man!
At the end of the show, he introduced his band and his friends. Like really introduced them – he brought them out like it was their show!
Also, he and all his friends seem really close. Like, seriously, friendship goals
This was one night I will never forget. I wish I had tickets to a second show, but I plan on attending the next world tour he does – whenever that’ll be. Front row and center, people!
The night ended on a great note: my feet were pounding, my voice was going and it felt like I was on cloud 9!
Unfortunately, I didn’t go broke, but I saw some merchandise on his website that I will be splurging on.
I, 100,000%, recommend that you attend one of his concerts! I loved every part of it and you will too!
