We don’t know about the other Her Campus girls but we love us some T-Swift! SO, when we heard rumors flying around about TS6, we were all over it in a heartbeat. We started digging and finding all of the evidence we could to become pretty confident that we will be getting a new album before the end of this year or the beginning of next year. Here’s why:
1. A member from the infamous squad has confirmed that Taylor is, in fact, back in the studio.
In an exclusive interview with ET, during fashion week where Taylor went to go support Gigi Hadid at her Hilfiger show, Hadid confirmed Taylor was getting back into the studio saying, “She’s obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that.”
2. It’s around the time Taylor would normally release an album.
Every two years since Taylor’s self titled album came out, she has released an album like clockwork. 1989 came out October 2014 so it would make complete sense for Taylor to go ahead and release TS6
3. She’s got a huge gig coming up.
This will be her first performance since the end of the 1989 Tour, which concluded several months. On October 22nd, Taylor is performing at the Formula 1 US Grand Prix, which last year pulled in 450 million viewers. This date is so close to when she normally releases new albums so we can only hope she’s doing something big!
4. She’s been spending a lot of time in Nashville.
Often times, Taylor spends time writing and recording her albums in Nashville, TN.
5. ALSO, the president of Big Machine Records, Scott Borchetta, replied to a fan’s tweet about new Taylor Swift music saying that there wouldn’t be any but soon after deleted the tweet… WHAT DOES IT MEAN???
So there you have it, 5 EXTREMELY valid reasons that are giving all of us Swifties hope for a new album dropping very, very soon. Taylor is always known for dropping things in style, with totally new and fun ways to do it. We can only hope that is album, whenever it comes out, will be out of our wildest dreams.
