Happy New Year and Winter Quarter WWU! Students at WWU are all ready for 2016 and many have made some great resolutions to improve their lives and the lives of others.  Here are a few of the resolutions people have and hope keep for the year!

Madeleine Stecher, Junior

“This year I want to start bringing my gym clothes to campus with me so that I am more motivated to work out when I’m there so I don’t have to go back home to change. Hopefully it will save me a lot of time, too.”

Lydia Ritchie, Senior

“Since I live pretty close to campus, I want to walk to and home from campus more often instead of taking the bus.  Walking to class will probably help wake me up more for the early more classes I have this quarter.”

Alex De Rocco, Senior

“I want to become more of a morning person so that’ll mean going to bed earlier.  I’m also going to try and cut back on drinking and partying.”

Kylee Morgan, Senior

“My new years resolution is definitely to be my most powerful self and not let anything stop me from achieving happiness and my goals.”

Jack Schwabe, Freshman

“I want to focus more on school right now so I can start off this quarter strong.  If that doesn’t work out I also want to start going on my runs everyday.”

Connor (Tuna) Baldwin, Junior

“I don’t really believe in new years resolutions.”
