Why did you choose your major/what to you plan to use it for?

My major is a combination of two majors, and its been groomed by companies, meaning it will help me to get a job quickly after graduation.

What advice would you give to future students?

Get really involved in two or three clubs; don’t be afraid to dive in.  You’ll meet some of the best people by becoming involved.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Dead in a Ditch

Hopefully working for a medical technology company, because medical technology is something that can make a difference in a persons life, so that I can sleep easy at night knowing that a made a difference.

Most interesting class you’ve taken at Western:

Engineering 104; I learned a lot about 3-D modeling and computer-aided design.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I broke one of the lounge windows in Fairhaven Stack 10 in the beginning of this year.  I was trying to scare some of my friends who were inside, so I hit the window, but my hand went straight through it! A massive fine within the first month was NOT how I saw my freshman going.

My name is Julia, and I'm currently a freshman at Western Washington University. I love hiking and the outdoors, and drinking way too much tea.
