Q: How Did You choose Your Major?

A: I come from a background of business professionals, as my family members were all business majors. I enjoy traveling and desire to incorporate the best of both worlds, hence International Business.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Italian food! Love, love, love Italian food.

Q: What is your favorite book?

A: I have many favorites, but I just started a book entitled “Someone Knows My Name” by Lawrence Hill that I really enjoy.

Q: What would you say is your favorite movie?

A:  “Brown Sugar

Q: Are you a cat or dog person?

A: I love dogs, puppies, to be specific!

Q: What do you love most about WWU?

A: The culture we’ve developed collectively as a student body, I love the energy and I love the students on this campus, the community aspect is huge for me.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I enjoy watching “SCANDAL,” visiting art galleries, traveling and spending time with loved ones!

Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A: Yes, I’m an active member of the Black Student Union.

Q: Who is your celebrity crush?

A:  Kerry Washington, but Jared Leto runs a close second.

Q: What’s your idea of a perfect date?

A:  Dinner at Pastini’s in downtown Portland, but then again “perfect” in my mind would be better than I can imagine.

Q: What is your life motto?

A: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in five years?

A: Being a successful International Commercial Real Estate Broker.

Q: What is something people don’t know about you?

A:  I know how to play the drums.

Q: Who are your fashion inspirations?

A: Olivia Pope and Kerry Washington, they both have fearless, creative fashion sense. I love their business yet fashionable attire. I try to incorporate their styles with a touch of my own in my personal wardrobe. 

Q: Is there anything on your Western bucket list?

A: I have yet to swim in the Wade King (Rec) pool, I definitely want to do that before my time is complete at Western!

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?

A: People wearing summer clothes, in the dead of winter… Like, aren’t you cold?

Q: What is the best job you’ve ever had?

A:  The job I hold now is pretty amazing! [ASVP for Business and Operations]

Q: If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

A: China! I hope to study abroad there this coming summer, it’s always been a dream of mine and I’m certain it will enhance my speaking abilities, as Chinese is my minor.  

Q: What are three things you couldn’t survive the day without?

A: God, food and water

Q: What is your best quality?

A: My personality and smile.

Q: Where is your favorite study spot?

A: My apartment, I enjoy a quiet atmosphere while studying.

A: Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Wale and Kendrick Lamar

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

A: Duplicating myself, so I can be in multiple places at once and never get tired.  

Q: What are you excited for in the future?

A: I’m excited to fulfill my dreams and aspirations, and in doing so I’m excited to give back to the people and communities that have supported and loved me, one of which being Western Washington University.
