This week’s campus celebrity is none other than Johnathan Bach! You may know him by his nickname, Jono. As a transfer student, this junior math education major is a new face to Wesleyan’s Campus. So let’s give him a warm WVWC welcome!
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Jono has attended two colleges prior to coming to Wesleyan: a small college in Vermont, then a bigger college in Colorado. He thinks it’s safe to say he’s found his place here on campus.
Jono hasn’t hesitated to get involved in campus activities, either. He’s an RA in Fleming, a player on the men’s Soccer team and a part of WE LEAD: Children and Youth.
“I really enjoy WE LEAD on campus,” Jono said. “I love the impact they make on the community, and the other schools I’ve been to haven’t had anything like it.”
This year, Jono hopes to be an even bigger part of the Wesleyan community.
“By the end of this year I hope to know everyone on floor, to make a meaningful change on campus and in the community and, of course, to pass all of my classes.”
