Favorite WVU Memory: My favorite memory would have to be my freshman year of high school when I managed to get a sideline pass for the second half of the Backyard Brawl. I was standing under the goal post when Tyler Bitancurt kicked the field goal that beat the then 8th-ranked Pitt Panthers and immediately rushed the field where I sang country roads on the mid-field logo arm-in-arm with the football team. It was pretty great, although I’d have to say my trip to the NCAA tournament games in Columbus last spring were pretty great, too. I traded tickets with an Oklahoma player’s family and got to sit behind the bench for the Maryland game and it was an incredible experience.
Â
Favorite Food: Prime New York strip cooked medium-rare with skewered shrimp and roasted asparagus.Â
Â
On Friday Night Youâll Find MeâŠ: Probably at The Back Door; my favorite local watering hole.Â
Â
What Do You Do In Your Spare Time: In my spare time I enjoy fishing, playing golf, cooking, traveling, spending time with my friends and family, open-range cattle roping, alchemy, listening to obscure musical artists, taking long walks on the beach, pizza parties, and hanging out at hotel bars. Â
Â
Describe Yourself In 3 Words: hard-working, loyal, outgoing Â
Â
Most Embarrassing Moment: I had to come in and pitch during an American Legion baseball game the summer after my sophomore year of high school. I couldn’t find the strike zone and only earned one out, gave up 6 runs and carried an ERA for the rest of the season of 127.Â
Â
Dream Vacation: My dream vacation is definitely a month long tour through Europe and ending in Dubai. I’ve never been out of country and I’d love to take a long trip overseas to experience different cultures, foods, and people.Â
Â
Plans After Graduation: While a lot of this hangs in the balance of finding a job, I would imagine I will be somewhere in Texas or Louisiana working in the oil and gas exploration and production industry.Â
Â
Fun Fact: I have lived in 7 states and been to 43 in total.Â
