At WVU we love to party, no matter what time it is. In Morgantown you will find students (of age) drinking anywhere you go, every corner you turn, it doesn’t matter what time it is or how cold it is outside, nothing stops the students of WVU from having a great time. The warm weather is every WVU student’s favorite excuse to get wild and have a great time and when getting wild in Morgantown, it’s important to have a great sense of fashion. I’m here to make sure you have the best outfit for afternoon parties at WVU.

Morgantown is a very hilly place and although heels make an outfit ten times cuter, when day drinking, heels are an absolute no-no! When you’re day partying in Morgantown, it’s best to stick to comfortable (but cute) shoes. The perfect shoes for day drinking would be flip flops, converse, toms, etc. There’s nothing worse than being uncomfortable when you’re trying to have a good time with friends!

Flowy tops and loose pants or skirts are ideal for day drinking for many reasons.  Don’t wear tight clothes that will stick to your skin when it’s hot outside, loose, flowy clothes are perfect for the day!

We all love to accessorize, whether it be your favorite Michael Kors watch, or even just a cute statement necklace from Forever 21. Jewelry can make an outfit so much cuter, but on a hot, sunny day heavy jewelry is just a hassle. When day drinking it’s best to stick with lightweight necklaces and stud earrings. When it’s hot and humid outside heavy jewelry just sticks to your skin and makes you uncomfortable! Save your favorite statement necklace and designer watch for a cool night on High St.

It’s best to stay away from long pants when you’re day drinking. Again, this is where flowy, loose clothes are helpful. If you want to wear pants when you’re out during the day in Morgantown, the best thing to wear is palazzo pants. Palazzo pants are light weight, flowy, comfortable and they look cute with almost anything. Jeans, leggings, or any other tight pants are uncomfortable in the heat and should be saved for cold weather.
