7 Reasons Why Change Is Good

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WVU chapter.

From changing up your daily routine to moving to a different state. We can plan to change things or the change comes out of nowhere. Most hate getting out of their comfort zone, that is why it’s called “comfort” zone. Change has many benefits; you just have to embrace the change.

1. Confidence

Not everyone has the strength to change things. It may be hard at first but once you get through it, you will gain so much. Overcoming the change will give you more confidence in yourself.

2. New Opportunities

New opportunities are going to come knocking on your door. You never know what those opportunities will give you, that is until you let them in. Once you open one door to someone, you might just have more coming to your door.

3. New Perspective

You could change how you look at everything. You could value everything differently, making you re-evaluate your life.

4. Improvements

Your life might make a full 360 turn. It will be okay though; it could be for the better. Your health, friendships and life will improve one way or another. It is going to make you notice that you should have done this a while ago.

5. Fresh Start

You are getting to try something new. It might be detoxing something bad out or just trying something brand new, either way it’s something you haven’t experienced. Be open to new things, try them before you quit them. Say goodbye to your past. You are able to climb more stairs than others.

6. Springiness

You are going to be able to change to new environments, new situations and new people. You can help out in more area and with more people. Not everyone is capable of big changes but if you make the big change you could make more changes.

7. Growth

You are growing with each new thing you are trying. You’re learning new things that will improve your life. They do say that the older you get, the more wisdom you have.  The change will teach you new things that will help you grow.
