Simple Breakfast Recipes!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WPUNJ chapter.

Currently, for the year 2022, I am nineteen years old, and I do not know how to cook or bake a lot of food. However, I am learning slowly but surely! It is never too late for someone to learn how to make dinner or even breakfast, so my article will introduce you to easy breakfast recipes anybody can do!

Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • Bread (white bread is one I usually use but whole grain is fine too!)
  • American cheese (2-4 slices)
  • Cooking spray, oil, or butter

Instructions:

  • With your two pieces of bread, butter one side each.
  • Depending on how big the slices of bread are, place 2-4 slices of cheese
  • My bread is small so I only put two slices of cheese
  • With a pan, heat up your store to about halfway/medium
  • Should be warm in about 3-5 minutes
  • Spray, oil, or butter your pot
  • After the store is heated, place the sandwich with the butter side down on the pan
  • Then cook your sandwich until one side is golden brown, then flip (or however you prefer a grilled cheese sandwich)
  • Cut the sandwich in half to be fancy☺
  • Done!

  • Batter should be smooth
  • if it is too thick you may add more milk
  • if it is too liquidy, you can add more mix.
  • A bonus if you want some sweetness, you can add some chocolate chips or M&Ms to your batter.
  • With a pan, heat up your stove to about halfway/medium
  • Should be warm and ready in 3-5 minutes
  • Spray on cooking spray, oil, or butter in the pan so it does not stick to the pan
  • Pour decent sized pancake amount
  • When bubbles on pancake appear, with a spatula, flip it over
  • After a minute or so, both sides of the pancake should be cooked. You may flip it just to make sure.
  • Done!

PS. For more flavor, you can add bananas or strawberries!
