When you were little, Halloween used to be as easy as dressing up as your favorite princess and going trick or treating. Your family takes you apple picking and you cuddle up to watch your favorite movies. As you become older and independent, the holiday you’ve always loved so much has become more complex. To keep the holiday traditions alive, it has become more of a priority. The “We need to go grocery shopping” turns into “We need to go costume shopping” and we go from simply having one costume to multiple costumes. Ever since I came to college, I learned that Halloween is not as simple as it used to be and my prepping process has escalated. But having great roommates and friends, I realize that we all are in the same boat. So kick back with some hot cider and see if even you have any of these thoughts during this spooky season!
