Transitioning Summer Trends to Fall/Winter

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wisconsin chapter.

There are some summer time trends that are just too good to leave behind when winter rolls around, especially ones that may not last till next spring.  After all if you spend the money on a trendy piece you might as get all the wears you can out of it!

One trend I find to be very spring and summery is the high low hemline. Just try searching for images of it and you’ll mostly see light skirts and dresses.

So what are the women braving the frozen tundra supposed to do?

Take that high low hemline higher and into shirt territory.

If you’re looking for warmth try this v neck sweater from Urbanog. Of course if you want to spice up the sweetness of the hemline try this knit top.

A good way to enhance the difference in length of the hemline is by changing your pants from regular denim jeans to colored ones. Pair a dark colored top with light pants and a neutral top with colored jeans.

Finally to finish add a pair of nice booties. Feminine combat boots are especially trendy and easy to find right now.

There you have it, an easy way to keep wearing the newest trends.
