Thoughts We’ve All Had While Studying for Midterms

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wisconsin chapter.

Midterms week is rough. It consists of all-nighters, endless amounts of caffeine, long nights at the library, and the occasional emotional breakdown. Along with these longs weeks of studying comes the thoughts all of us often have while studying for midterms…

Will I ever actually use any of this in life?

Oh my gosh I totally get this

Just going to check social media really quick as a break *30 minutes later*

Did we ever even learn this?!… I don’t know anything

How badly can I do on this exam and still keep my grade… *calculates exact score*

What if I “got sick” in the middle of the exam…could I retake it?

I miss my dog

I’m hungry

Is it weird to take a nap in the library?

I need more coffee

I think I’m going to get ice cream to reward myself for studying so much

I’m just done for today

Despite all our doubts and crazy thoughts that come to mind while we are studying for midterms, hard work pays off, and whatever grade you may receive …being finished is the best feeling ever!
