And in my humble opinion, I think these shows could rival any of the beloved American television classics. Here are the top four shows on Netflix that I have watched and loved, especially with English subtitles!

If you like Black Mirror, then Osmosis may be great for you. This French show tackles the online dating scene to the extreme as two genius siblings have created a “soul mate implant” that will 100% match you to the love of your life. However, there is always a price to pay when we put too much of our lives in technology. This show is love and technology all wrapped in a drama bundle.

High Seas is the perfect show for those who love drama and mysteries, but with an elegant twist. Set in the 1940’s on a cruise ship, two sisters uncover dark secrets of the past as they attempt to solve a mysterious death on the ship. The show all around is beautiful: beautiful setting, beautiful outfits and, best of all, beautiful people.

Elite, in my humble opinion, is the elite version of Riverdale. Set in a prestigious academy in Spain, three new students from the local public school shift the whole school’s dynamic that eventually leads to a murder. This show celebrates the style and ignorance of the posh, lavish lives of the rich and how there seems to be no consequences when you have money. Following the trend of before, this is a beautiful show with the most beautiful people. Best of all, it will keep you on the edge of your seat!

I saved the best for last. This is by far my favorite show on Netflix, international or not. One man, “The Professor,” brings together a crew of thieves to pull off the ultimate robbery: printing billions of euros at the Royal Mint of Spain. This show literally has everything that I love: crime, action, strategy and a little romance, of course (also hellloo Rio). This is the perfect binge show to get your fix of TV.
