Introducing the Qdoba of Middle Eastern food! Originating in Illinois, Naf Naf Grill now has 21 locations around Chicago, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and now Madison. Naf Naf’s mission is to popularize the staples of Middle Eastern food. As a food lover with little experience in the Middle Eastern food department, I decided to check it out.

What I Ordered

Vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers can all rejoice because Naf Naf has something for everyone. I ordered the hummus bowl with rice, falafel, pickles and garlic sauce. But what really brought it home was the pita bread. I wasn’t expecting the pita bread on the side, but the carb gods must have been in my favor because it was probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten.

Reactions

I took a leap of faith when I ordered the falafel. They may not be too appealing to the eye, but oh my, did they make my stomach happy. I would advise even the pickiest of eaters to try the falafel-it was that good.

The bowl as a whole was to die for. The hummus was fantastic and the rice was on point. The garlic sauce added a really nice flavor on top without being too spicy.

Review

Please do yourself a favor and go to Naf Naf Grill. It may be a little different than what you are used to, but I promise it is worth it.

Overall, Naf Naf Grill, you get two thumbs up!
