It can be hard being a collegiette lady! We are constantly on the go and this can sometimes take a toll on our appearance or wardrobe selection for that day. Sometimes picking out an outfit for the library can be more stressful than the homework you have to do when you get there. Look to these four boys for a guy’s take on library appearance.
Leggings:
Jackson: “Great stuff!”
Todd: “Yes to leggings. Always.”
Chris: “If a girl can fill out the leggings, it’s always a plus. I like the leggings and Uggs look on girls.”
Robert: “Yes, please.”
Looking like you just rolled out of bed:
Jackson: “Come on, you can do better.”
Todd: “I guess I don’t expect too much from a girl at the library. As long as she isn’t wearing her pajamas, I don’t really care.”
Chris: “I got a thing for girls who can pull this look off. If they look good with messy hair and no make-up then imagine what they look like when they’re trying to look good. But if the girl can’t pull it off then it’s a turn off.”
Glasses:
Jackson: “If you must.”
Todd: “Glasses can be cute. They show that a girl can be fun, but also serious about school when the time comes.”
Chris: “I think a lot of girls look cute in glasses, and I know guys sometimes appreciate the “nerdy” look.”
Robert: “Why not, if you look good in them.”
Keeping your cell phone on vibrate:
Jackson: “As long as I cannot hear it, it is fine.”
Todd: “Although most people have headphones in, it’s pretty easy to just turn your phone on silent. Definitely a must, especially if the people you’re sitting with are trying to get things done. No one cares how popular you are, or who you’re texting, so definitely silence your phone.”
Chris: “Just put it on silent, seriously.”
Robert: “I’d prefer not to be distracted.”
Workout clothes:
Jackson: “That is fine.”
Chris: “Guys like tight fitting clothes and they’d be lying if they said anything else. That being said, yoga pants and neon tops are greatly appreciated… even if it’s the middle of winter.”
Robert: “Understandable, but not preferred.”
Hair bows:
Todd: “I really dislike these.”
Chris: “No, just wear a hair-tie. Hair Bow’s just make me think of pom-poms and cheerleaders and the library isn’t the place for that.”
Robert: “Will most likely go unnoticed.”
