Campus Catwalk: Brooke Jarchow

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wisconsin chapter.

Brooke Jarchow

Year: Sophomore

Major: Marketing

Favorite Food:

Pizza, sour candy and moscato

Campus involvement:

I pretty much devote all of my time to my sisters here at Kappa Kappa Spring Street.

Favorite place in Madison:

I really love the Union terrace especially on a summer night.

On the weekends you will find her:

At the library……

How would you describe your style?

Typically I’d say hipster with a touch of ghetto but others might say it’s pretty laid back. I don’t know.

Stores you love:

ASOS! And um, my roommates’ closets to be honest.

What’s your approach to dressing for classes? Weekends?

Dressing for classes entirely depends on whether my alarm goes off on time or not, and dressing for weekends depends if I pre-game before or after I put on my outfit.

When it comes to buying things for your wardrobe, what’s your weakness?

Recently, oversized shirts and sweaters are my biggest weakness because they are just so comfy and easy to dress up or down! Also boots.

Style rules: Do you have any? If so, what are they?

Rule 1: On Wednesdays I wear pink.

Rule 2: I only wear my hair in a ponytail once a week.

Rule 3: I only wear jeans or track pants on Fridays.

What colors to you gravitate to when it comes to your clothes?

I usually prefer natural colors-especially army green. I have become such a fan of cobalt blue though!

Who’s your fashion icon?

I don’t have a specific icon that I try to mirror. I look up to those with styles that are different and unpredictable.
