Fun Fact: I have a fashion blog http://beccahasnothingtowear.tumblr.com where I post photos of my daily outfits. I lived in Paris this summer and it was a great way to keep track of the crazy looks I tried there.

On the weekends you will find her: Doing “the wobble” with my girls.

Describe your sense of style in a few words: Classic staples mixed with trendy pieces: I’m a juxtaposition in fashion.

What are your most favorite pieces in your closet?

My all leather Carrol dress from Paris & my 1982 Green Bay Packer crew neck I found in a thrift store in Paris this summer

Where do you like to shop in Madison? And online?

I always love the things I find at Pitaya! Online, ASOS is easily the best: free shipping and fabulous clothes.

What was your most recent style purchase?

I recently went to NYC for a weekend with my roomies for Teen Vogue Fashion University and I went on a major shopping spree. My favorite piece I got was a red dress from Topshop.

Do you have any fashion pet peeves? Are there any trends you’d never try?

When girls wear dresses that are just too short. You shouldn’t be wearing a top without pants when you go out! Also, I try a lot of horrendous trends (just to try it), but I don’t think I’ll ever get into harem pants or wide leg jeans — they would look horrible on me.

What’s your approach to dressing for classes?

When the weather is nice, I’m motivated to always dress to impress. I love dresses and skirts, but still feeling comfy so I usually add boots. In the winter, I am less inspired and typically just dress warmly with lots of layers and oversized sweaters.

What do you think is the most important clothing item to splurge on?

Classic pieces. I never splurge on anything that’s trendy, that I probably won’t wear a year from now. Also, great shoes! You always should invest in at least one pair of classic, fabulous heels that you can wear professionally or when you go out.

As far as beauty, do you have a specific routine? Any must have products?

I always moisturize my face! Investing in an expensive face lotion is totally worth it. I choose one with SPF in it to protect my skin. My mom’s best advice was to use under eye cream to avoid puffiness and wrinkles later in life.

What’s currently on your fashion wish list?

Now, a pleated leather skirt and some day, I would love to own a classic tweed Chanel suit and Louboutins.

Fashion icons?

Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw. She was such a fearless dresser and I completely admire that.

Which celebrity’s wardrobe would you like to steal?

Easily Diane Kruger & Alexa Chung’s!
