Some people are born with the coffee-loving gene, and others are not. I consider coffee to be an acquired taste, and when friends tell me they don’t like coffee, I always tell them they will. If you were not blessed with liking coffee and are looking for ways how, follow this list as a guide to start liking coffee.
1. Starbucks’ Frappuccino Blended Crème:
To start liking coffee, we have to go to the basics. A Starbucks Frappuccino Blended Crème contains the same sweetness and deliciousness of specialty Starbucks drinks, minus the coffee.
2. Starbucks’ Bottled Frappuccino:
The Starbucks Bottled Frappuccino does contain coffee, but the drink is masked with so much sugar and milk that you’ll barely notice.
3. Starbucks’ Frappuccino:
A step up from the Starbucks Blended Crème, this Frappuccino contains milk, ice, and espresso: strong coffee made with steam forced through ground coffee beans. The drink is beyond sweet, making it the ideal stepping stone towards liking coffee.
4. Dunkin Donuts’ Frozen Coffee Coolatta:
It’s creamy and cold. Better yet, it contains coffee without the overpowering coffee taste.
5. Latte:
Lattes contain espresso, steamed milk and a little bit of foam. Lattes can also be customized with tons of different flavorings and syrups.
6. Mocha:
Espresso, steamed milk, and foam; oh my. Mochas also contain chocolate syrup which adds to the sweetness. Make sure to try white mochas, which instead have white chocolate mocha sauce.
7. Cappuccino:
This drink is more bitter than the preceding ones. It contains double espresso, hot milk and steamed milk foam. Do not be afraid to ask for syrups to add in for extra flavoring.
8. Coffee:
You’ve made it. You are ready to start drinking coffee without all of the extra frills. Do not be afraid of creamer, though, because not many people actually like plain black coffee.
Learning to like coffee can be a challenge. However, in the end coffee will be well worth it during your early mornings and late nights.
