9 Times Every Girl Deserved a Jim Halpert in her Life

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wisconsin chapter.

With his sly looks at the cameras, killer pranks, dorky but cute personality and family-centered lifestyle, he’s every woman’s fictional fantasy crush.

1. When Pam fell asleep on his shoulder through a meeting, but he didn’t move so he wouldn’t wake her up.

2. When Pam got really drunk at the Dundies and Roy left, but Jim took care of her all night.

3.  When Jim tells Pam the exact moment he knew he liked her.

4. When Jim admitted how long ago he bought Pam’s engagement ring because he had been waiting so long to date her.

5. When he proposed to Pam unexpectedly, in the middle of a gas station parking lot, in the pouring rain and somehow still made it every girl’s dream proposal.

6. When Pam was stressed about the wedding and got emotional about ripping her veil, so Jim cut his tie in half to show her it was no big deal.

7. When Jim admitted his “Plan A” for the wedding was to marry Pam the day he met her.

8. When Pam doesn’t think she’s good enough for Jim, so he makes a photo montage of their relationship that pulls on her, and our, heartstrings.

9. When Jim dresses Cece as the “swee’pea” to his “Popeye” for the company costume contest. #FamGoals.

We love you forever, Jim Halpert!
