6 Stocking Stuffers for Stressed College Students

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wisconsin chapter.

Even the smallest things make a big difference

In honor of Christmas being right around the corner, I have compiled a list of some of my favorite stocking stuffers. Specifically, I have chosen to focus on the best stress reliever gifts. Coming into Christmas break, students will have just finished up finals which is hands down the most stressful time of the semester. If ever a college student needed relaxation, Christmas break is the perfect opportunity, and these stocking stuffers will be the perfect boost.

Gift Cards

A gift card for a favorite coffee shop, store, restaurant, etc. is always a great go-to stocking stuffer. It extends the holiday season by allowing the recipient to get something they want, when they want. Plus, it’s a great way for a person to treat themselves to a mood booster on a particular rough or stressful day.

Pimple patches

Pimple patches are so underrated but an amazing gift for any girl boss. Let’s be real, clear skin is so hard to maintain but a good pimple patch can make a world of difference. Taking care of one’s skin is especially difficult during stressful periods in life, so being prepared for pimples is a must. Personally, I would recommend the brand Mighty Patch for anyone struggling with acne.

Fuzzy socks

The power of fuzzy socks can never be overstated. Having warm, comfy socks just brings a small but necessary happiness into your day. Plus, they always come with fun and cute little designs on them. Fuzzy socks are a chance for one to express their personality while also treating themself to some comfort. They are a small but mighty stocking stuffer.

10-foot-long phone charger

I invested in a 10-foot-long phone charger about a year ago and I cannot stop raving about it. We all have those moments in our life when we just want to be lazy and scroll through Tik Tok on our phone. This charger comes in handy when you are somewhere with few outlets or in a lofted bed. There is nothing worse than wanting to relax but falling victim to a dead phone. A 10-foot-long phone charger is the solution.

Succulent candles

Candles are always a great, relaxing gift that brings feelings of coziness. But what I find to be even better than a regular, old candle is succulent candles. Not only can they have great scents, but they are absolutely adorable. Whether using them for decoration or actually burning them, succulent candles are a perfect gift for a stressed out student in need of some comfort.

Pocky sticks

A quintessential stocking stuffer is a delicious sweet of some sort because who doesn’t love a little sugar to brighten their day. One treat that I would suggest is pocky sticks because they come in so many fun flavors. A couple different packs of these snacks are sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face.

In the end, Christmas is a time to spend with loved ones and create many happy memories. A great way to show how much you care for someone is through gifts, even just something small. A gift is a way to show someone you appreciate them and care about them deeply. For this reason, it’s often not what you give someone that matters but rather the fact that you took the time to give them something in the first place.
