4 “Must Haves” to Bring Style Back to School

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wisconsin chapter.

Going back to school is already enough of a drag. Homework… Library… Spending all of your money on books instead of new boots for fall… Losing your tan to the fluorescent lights of classrooms… the list can go on and on. To make the transition from summer to school a little easier, check out these 4 must have items to add a little fun to your school work.

  1. If you are like me, you hate wearing backpacks to class or the library. I usually opt for using an over-size tote to carry my books and laptop around campus instead. Unfortunately, my aversion for backpacks does not supply an extra strength shield to my totes and they end up stretching and ripping due to the excess weight.  Instead, check out Aldo’s wide selection of tech accessories including stylish, yet supporting, laptop messenger bags such as the one below.

  1. A great way to ease the pain of an aching hand after taking notes in class is to reward yourself with some colorful new pencils or pens! Vera Bradley has a great assortment of writing utensils that will make note taking seem like the hottest new trend.

  1. As we kick our brains back into gear this fall, it’s time to get a little creative. Who says a make-up bag can’t double as a pencil case? In order to keep from losing all of your Vera Bradley pens and pencils, I suggest taking a look at a sturdy case such as this Tory Burch one below! Stylish and convenient, what more could you want?!

  1. And last but not least, tie together your new school supply ensemble with the classic Lilly Pulitzer agenda book. Instead of focusing on the long to-do list written inside it, relish in the fact you are bringing style back to school!
