Let’s be honest: guys are ridiculously hard to shop for. From experience (with exes), I normally get an “I don’t want anything” or an “I don’t really care”. So, to help my HerCampus readers out, I asked my boyfriend and his friends to list some things they wanted for Christmas. Many of the answers are cheaper and easier to find than I thought!
- Clothing

This one shocked me a little bit- but more than one said simply clothing items, mainly listing underwear and socks. Clothing as a whole is a good option though, as tshirts with their favorite artist or sports team on it will be good.
- Cologne

This one is a positive for you and him- cologne! This is the perfect time to get him (and his hoodies you will steal) to smell AMAZING. This can either be a refill bottle of his favorite scent, or a new scent that you found at Ulta.
- Legos

I feel like this one is self-explanatory. It can also turn into a really cute date night! You can either get a fancy set or individual legos that you guys can use to build things for each other.Â
- Snacks/food

This is an easy stocking stuffer, but his favorite snacks! You can get either drinks, candies, or any of his favorite snacks. It is a cheap way to show him you notice and remember the little things!
- Shoes

This one may be a little on the pricer side- but most guys I know are sneaker heads. You can find the newest style or simply a pair in his favorite color. You can also do more of a neutral color in hopes he will wear them more. Slippers are also a good option, as guys like to be cozy to.Â
- Sports Things

Most guys have a favorite sport and a favorite team within that sport. Why not get him something related to it? If you go on Amazon or Etsy and type in the team, hundreds of things will come up with the logo or related paraphilia on it. These items can be used as either main gifts or stocking stuffers depending on what you find.
- Technology

This can be either wearable or playable. Items such as watches and headphones are useful gifts I am sure they will love. Video games or video game accessories are also GREAT gift ideas- almost every single guy I know has a video game or genre that they play whenever they have free time. You can either purchase a new game for him, or something like an expansion pack if applicable.Â
- Gift CArds

This is a simple one that will be used if your bf likes practical gifts. This can be to his favorite restaurant, store, or gaming system. This is great if you are not 100% sure to get him or are in a newer relationship. You can also be sneaking and see what he buys for future inspo.Â
- car vacuum

This one is for the car guys of the world. A clean car equals a happy guy, as most guys take great pride in their cars.
- diffusers/LED lights

Or any simple room decor could work. LED lights and diffusers are popular right now, and gifts that he can use almost daily. These types of gifts will spruce up his room in a way that will get him to think of you.
