Dear Santa,

Can you believe it’s already December? That means it’s Christmastime–my absolute favorite! I hope that Mrs. Claus and Rudolph (alongside all of the other awesome reindeer) are all doing fine, and are preparing for Christmas!

I don’t know when you’ll be getting my letter, but I sure do hope it’s soon because I have something important to tell you…

The other day I overheard someone say that you aren’t real, and I just don’t understand why someone would dare say that. You have been around my entire childhood, and it’s hard to believe that you don’t exist. When I heard the news, my heart began to shatter! But then it stopped, because I know for a fact that you are real! That’s why I’m writing to you…to let you know that I still believe in you.

There is no way that you’re not real! Who else would eat all of the cookies that I bake and drink ALL of the milk that we have? The other kids, they say that you don’t exist or that we’re too old to believe in you, and that’s just silly honestly.

I can always count on you to drop off the good stuff! The stuff that makes me feel special because I have obviously made it onto the Nice list for the 18th year in a row! Every year, I look forward to waking up and seeing gifts under the tree labeled: “from, Santa.” Boy, does my heart jump with joy when I see that! You are the one individual that can bring joy to so many of us!

You were probably expecting my letter to be a long list of what I want for Christmas, and although that may or may not be another letter…I just want you to know that what I truly want for Christmas is for everyone to believe in you the way that I do. The world needs Santa Claus. Now, I know that you’re a very busy man, and surely you have a lot of houses to stop and visit, so I suppose that I’ll wrap this up (just like you do generously with all of the presents you give us!)

Santa, thank you for making my childhood extremely special. I can’t wait to see what surprise you have in store for me this year! Please enjoy the cookies and milk that I’ve set out for you…I tried a new cookie recipe that I hope you like!

Until next year,

Someone Who Willl Always Believe
