This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Winthrop chapter.

Say it ain’t so! Divorce rumors between Beyoncé and Jay Z have started once again! Bey just released her highly anticipated visual album Lemonade and the rumor mill spiraled.

According to ABC News Beyoncé wrote some lyrics in Lemonade about infidelity and not only are fans confused and worried, but Jay Z himself isn’t too happy with the way his relationship with his wife was portrayed.

Even though Jay reportedly isn’t happy with Bey’s new album, the rumors are not coming out of nowhere. A source close to the couple revealed that they have been having problems for a long time; Lemonade was just one more problem to add.

The lyrics that provoked the newest set of rumors were “Becky with the good hair.” Rumor had it, Becky might be Rita Ora however, Ora shut that down quickly, ABC News said.

Jay’s infidelity rumors also center around his relationship with Rachel Roy. Roy had made an instagram post about Lemonade and it all went up in flames.

Roy gave a statement saying that she meant no harm; it was just her reaction to Queen B’s latest creation.

After all the agony that went into Lemonade, Beyoncé was able to create yet another genius album. Apparently, it was an album said to be a breakup album but became something much more. It’s an album that shows that things can always be mended with a lot of work and respect for your person.

Jay and Bey have been through a lot in their marriage but according to E! News, Jay’s got his wife’s back and he will do anything for her.

Beyonce dedicated a song to her husband at one of her Formation Tour opening show. “I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband. Boo boo, I love you so much,” she said according to the article on ABC News

So, let’s lay these rumors to rest, collegiates.
