Welcome back, Warriors! Last year was our inaugural year for Her Campus and we are so excited about the success and recognition we have received in our first year. With this being the first year with a full executive board, we would love for our readers and members of HC to get to know the officers a little bit better.

Best advice you can offer someone: The best advice that I can offer someone is to stay true to themselves. People will come and go in your life and those people that appreciate and respect your true self, your esthetic, your beliefs, and your opinion, they’re the ones that you want to be around. You should not have to be anything other than what you want to be.
If you could have any job in the world, what would it be? If I could have any job in the world I would chose to be a world-renowned food critic that gets to travel the world and eat at all sorts of amazing restaurants.
What (or who) is your spirit animal? A polar bear. Anyone that knows me well knows that I am obsessed with them.
What do you love most about Her Campus Winona? Her Campus Winona is such a unique club. It is a great community of women and men, with varying interests and majors that come together to mutually support and encourage each other. Not only do our members get to write about topics that interest them and our community, but they also become published on a national website at the same time. I love that Her Campus Winona is a high-energy club and that I can consider all the members my friends.

What do you love most about Her Campus Winona? I love how everyone involved is so fun, supportive, and different. We are a great group of people who have so much going on in our lives, but for an hour every week we dedicate our focus to write things to entertain our friends, family, and classmates.

Best advice you can offer someone: Let obstacles that become present in your life mold you and never hinder you on your path to greatness. We are all presented obstacles that we never expected. Never let them take away from what you are capable of. The dream is always there, so never stop believing in it.
If you could have any job in the world, what would it be? As of right now, my dream job is to be a creative director in the advertising field. I want to be able to develop high-level concepts for design projects, work with internal and external clients, and provide inspiration within a ‘driven for success’ creative team.
What (or who) is your spirit animal? Any kind of cat. Anyone who knows me, knows I have a slight cat obsession.
What do you love most about Her Campus Winona? The one thing I adore about Her Campus is walking into a room filled with creative and inspired individuals that welcome you with big smiles and pure optimism. Our club is filled with incredibly driven people who are never shy of a creative and unique idea to advance us further.

Best advice you can offer someone: Just be yourself. You don’t need to change for anyone, no matter how cool or whatever they might be. Never change yourself because in that, you might lose your true self.
If you could have any job in the world, what would it be? I would love to work in music somehow, so working in a large music firm would be amazing, such as Warner Music Records and Big Machine Record.
What (or who) is your spirit animal? I would definitely say a dog. I honestly never really understood the concept of a spirit animal…I’m not the smartest. But I know I have the attention like a dog, I get distracted easily, and probably my energy and wanting to eat all the time.
What do you love most about Her Campus Winona? I love being able to write! I am not the best writer, but going into the career I am, writing is a skill that I need! Having the ability to write almost whatever I want within the certain category, makes me feel better about writing because it makes me feel free! Also, the club I am with is awesome; such a great group of guys and gals!

What do you love most about Her Campus Winona? I love being able to write about things I love that other women on campus can relate to. I’ve also met some great friends by joining Her Campus Winona. Being in a group with such passionate ladies who can bounce ideas off of each other and encourage each other is amazing.
