Currently, we have all found ourselves stuck at home with nothing to do. It isn’t a situation anyone wants to be in but unfortunately, here we are. It isn’t as bad as it sounds though, there are new opportunities arising for us stuck at home!

Lots of companies are looking at this and are offering the best services they can at this time. This means lifting fees and offering discounts. Uber eats is waiving its delivery fee from independent restaurants. So, you can still eat out and even try food from a new place. A lot of restaurants in general are offering free delivery. You don’t even have to worry about a delivery person since businesses are now offering contactless delivery. So, you can get your food with as little worries as possible!

Miss going to the mall? A majority of stores are waving their delivery fee as well! So, you can still shop from your home. Even online services are getting on board with discounts. They are also offering new experiences to their services so we can stay connected from a distance! For example, the majority of us have heard of Netflix party. A tool Netflix added where you can now watch Netflix with other people. Whatever you decide to watch, will be played and paused at the same time as everyone else. It also includes a chat feature!

There are even some things you can get for free! Babbel, an online resource to learn a language, is giving away a month of free learning (for students)! We always say we wish we could learn other languages. Now is your chance. Free trials are being given by a few companies. If you’re a student there are even more opportunities for you to take advantage of trials being offered.

This is only the tip of the iceberg of what is available for you now. Whatever you are interested in you can probably find a free trial for it. Even if someone isn’t offering anything, it doesn’t hurt to email the company asking for a trial. They will definitely be understanding of the situation. I mean, we’re in this together. Although this isn’t ideal for anyone, this is the time to spread kindness and look at the bright side.
