8 Reasons Why Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are Relationship Goals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wilfrid Laurier chapter.

It’s pretty much a well-known fact that model and ultra-relatable lady Chrissy Teigen’s relationship with her swoon-worthy husband John Legend is a thing of dreams. Through her hilarious Twitter and their constantly documented adorableness, it’s safe to say that their love is goal-worthy.

1) They support one another

Pretty much the best way to support your spouse when they win an Oscar (she also documented said Oscar going to bed with them that night).

2) The way Chrissy teases John

Her Twitter is incredible, and her light-hearted jabs at John are always hilarious.

3) No matter where they are, they always look like they’re more focused on each other than their surroundings

They sat on the stairs off to the side by themselves at the Golden Globes, which is pretty much what I would want to do if I was there.

4) They don’t take themselves too seriously

A major key to any relationship is being able to laugh and not always take things too seriously, which I think these two have pretty much mastered.

5) They show how much they love each other

They may be celebrities, but it’s refreshing to see a famous couple doing average relationship things and looking happy while they’re doing it.

6) Their obvious adoration for their precious daughter Luna

I like them, and I like cute babies. Their daughter Luna is featured in most things I see about the couple and they always seem enraptured with everything about her. Chrissy got her about five different Halloween costumes, one of which was a hot dog. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is.

7) John’s patience when Chrissy came home drunk from the Grammy’s

“Are you mad at me?”

“Why would I be mad at you? You’re perfect.”

Watch the hilariously adorable series of Snapchat videos she shared here.

8) They somehow always look good

Who would have thought fried chicken themed onesies could possibly look that fabulous?

Chrissy and John seem like genuinely down to earth, very in love people, so it’s refreshing to see a couple whose relationship not only seems real, but happy.
