Found poems are when you take words from books, essays, other poems, etc., and you use those words to create your own poem. This is one of the first found poems I have ever written, and it is probably one of my favorites. 

Humans waste words

They toss them and leave them to rot

Understanding human speech is not the same as understanding humans

Humans speak too much

Even when they have nothing to say

It took time to weave words

But I was patient
