It’s the festive season! Everyone’s cuddled up with someone special, and we all want to do something fun, cute, and sweet, so here are a few date ideas for you and your significant other!

  1. Legos and Hot Chocolate!

Get a small pack of hot chocolate from your local grocery store and pick up a Lego set from Walmart. Dim the lights, put on a movie, and have a cute little night at home. Spend time with each other away from the distractions and from the other people in the comfort of your own home, cuddled up in a blanket.

  1. Cook together!

Find a recipe that you both would like. Make little changes based on what you eat and cook together. Pour yourself a glass of wine, sparkling water, sparkling juice, whatever you like, and listen to music while you dance in the kitchen! And lastly, make a little dessert, maybe some Christmas cookies.

  1. Do a Christmas DIY at home!

Here are a few DIY ideas:

  • Build little ornaments
  • Build a gingerbread house
  • Paint your mugs
  • Paint a little portrait

Do anything creative that you would like with your partner. Play Christmas music in the background to make it more festive and then trade what you made! We all love having a little something special from our partner, a little piece of their work.

  1. Go to a Winter Festival

I went to the Distillery District recently, but I didn’t spend any money, I just enjoyed the vibes and looked at the trees and the lights. I got a little hot chocolate and just spent time with the one that I care about.

These were a few of my favourite Christmas date night ideas! They really let you spend some time with your partner, learn more about each other, and see how creative they are. Even with the DIY’s, you have four different options, so just make everything on a different day! For cooking, cook something different on different days, you can take these dates and spread them out over many days. It’ll be just dates, dates, dates everywhere. By the way, even if you’re at home, make the most out of it and make it a date.
