With Halloween falling on a Wednesday, many of us will be spending the holiday at home. What better way to end spooky season than with a scary movie marathon? Here’s a list of the top 5 horror movies that will leave you wishing you didn’t have to sleep alone.

Scream (1996)

Okay, I’ll admit, this movie isn’t the most terrifying ever but if you’re into unexpected twists, this classic is a must-watch!

The Exorcist (1973)

Nothing is spookier than the supernatural, so be ready to jump at your own shadow after this iconic film.

Halloween (1978)

If you’ve seen the newest Halloween in theaters then you might be tempted to watch the one that started it all. Grab a snack!

Alien (1979)

If Sci-Fi is more your thing, get cozy and watch the original Alien movie.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

This is the type of movie you’ll be thinking about for days after you’ve seen it, and not in a good way. Beware!
