I had the opportunity to sit in on a press conference with Em and hear her talk about her old and new music and what she looks forward to as she goes on tour with Lewis Capaldi this spring.

Without looking at the internet constantly, she felt freer in writing what she felt good about without the added pressure of what other people might think, which definitely has manifested in her song ‘Rollercoasters Make Me Sad’.
With her now touring as the opening act for Lewis Capaldi’s ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’ tour, she describes it as the “most incredible feeling in the world” to be able to share this experience with her fans. Having written ‘Numb Little Bug’ at her piano when she was at one of her lowest points, being able to perform her music in front of a crowd is a touching, full-circle moment for her.
