Best Places to Study Off-Campus

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wash U chapter.

1. Kayaks

Kayaks is always a basic, go-to study spot for WashU students. Its location makes it easy to stop by to be productive for an hour or to spend an entire afternoon working. Be careful because you’re bound to run into someone you know there!

2. Meshuggah Cafe

A lesser known but still high-quality study spot is Meshuggah Cafe on The Loop. The walk there and back can even serve as a study break so you can grind while you’re there. Though it’s usually pretty crowded, there’s an upstairs area with more seating.

3. Colleen’s Cookies

This cute cafe is also walking distance from campus and is a great, quieter spot to get work done. The best part about Colleen’s is hands-down all of the cookies and pastries that are on display in the front. Get some dessert, it will make your studying slightly more bearable!
