10 Reasons Why Fall is Better than Summer

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wash U chapter.

It’s finally time for the pumpkin spice lattes and candy corns…. Get amped!

1) You get to bundle up and wear the trending Fall colors. More importantly, you can wear a sweatshirt and sweatpants to class without dying from heat stroke.

2) You can hear the satisfying crunch of pine cones under your feet as you walk to class instead of feeling like everything is so gross and soggy from the 300% humidity.

3) The trees are gorgeous.

4) You can play with the leaves on said trees.

5) You can break out all the adorable Fall booties you own.

6) It’s cool enough outside to order a hot drink without burning alive.

7) Scarves!!

8) Halloween (an excuse to eat disgusting amounts of candy).

9) Thanksgiving (an excuse to eat disgusting amounts of comfort food).

10) Fall break – finally a pause on all the exams so you can mentally checkout and watch 5 seasons of a show on Netflix.
