Why Join HC WFU?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wake Forest chapter.

Hey you. If you’re reading this, I’m assuming you’re interested in joining the Wake Forest Chapter of HC. My name is Haley Callicott, I am a senior business major and this is my fourth year on the HC team. As the current Editor-in-Chief, I want to encourage you to apply for a position on our team.

If you’re not familiar with the publication, Her Campus is a national, online magazine targeted towards female college students that focuses on various topics, including fashion/beauty, travel, music, campus events, national news, student profiles, health/fitness, and more.

Our organization is an easy and low commitment way to get involved on campus, meet a new, diverse group of people, and become a published writer or marketing and events coordinator. In addition to publishing articles on our blog and creating Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter posts, we host several events during the year, including personal branding and networking events, Zumba, cooking classes, etc.

The club is basically what you make of it and is intended to be a fun, creative outlet for women on campus. Also, it’s a great resume booster!

If interested in applying, please email us at wake-forest@hercampus.com, and we would be happy to answer any and all of your questions.
