Spring semester is in full swing and Wake’s weather is dreary as ever, but your skincare doesn’t have to be! The chilly temperatures and humidity can take a toll on your skin so it’s important to find products that work for your skin type!

The cardinal sin of cosmetic care is of course not taking your makeup off before bed, but often times makeup wipes and face washes can dry out your skin even further. After a lot of experimenting, I’ve found some products that can keep you clean and fresh while staying moisturized!

These wipes are great for even the sleepiest of face cleansers. The wipes are really effective at getting even water-proof makeup off and don’t dry out your face as some removers do.

After removing my makeup I like to wash my face with the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser. It is really gentle and perfect for the winter time when your face may be more sensitive, but it is also effective at cleansing your pores and taking off any residue left from makeup wipes.

I usually directly follow my facewash with Cerave moisturizer because washing your face can open up your pores and allow the moisturizer to be more effective!
