From classes and studying to fun events on the weekend, there are numerous occasions in which one might want to perk up their makeup routine. What better way to do that than to up your eyeliner game? There are three looks that are good for almost any occasion:

1. The Everyday Look

Now, my go to eyeliner look is pretty simple. I take my gel liner and a slim brush and draw a straight, thin line above my lash line. Then, from the point where my eyeliner on my top lid ends, I begin a line on my bottom lashes. I simply throw on some mascara and then I am ready to go!

2. The Cat Eye

The cat eye is a bit more complicated. While I think it looks amazing on anyone, I have not been touched by the makeup God’s and am hopeless at actually doing it. That being said, I found a helpful breakdown to follow below.

3. The Smokey Eye

Last but certainly not least is how to apply eyeliner when doing a smokey eye. One of the many beauties of a smokey eye is even if you mess up, just BLEND! The messier the better, really. When I do a smokey eye, I prefer to keep my eyeliner simple and focus more on the shadow; you don’t want too much going on. First, you apply the varying tones of dark eyeshadow and blend those into your crease. When it comes time to do your eyeliner, I do my everyday liner as I stated above, but I make the line thicker than usual (not too thick, though), and then I go over it with a cotton swab and smudge it to smoke it out even more.
