These have gotten me through it — whether it be anxiety, school stress, or if I’m just overall not having a good time. So, if you’re going through a rough time and looking for something to help you feel better, look no further. These are in no particular order because I love them all.

gilmore girls

I recently added this show to my comfort list after finishing it last month (don’t include the reboot). In my opinion, It’s worth the hype and does well for the comfort factor. This show is adorable and set in the early 2000s, so it gives you a bit of nostalgia too.

This one is another well-loved show. It is a romantic comedy and a lot of fun. I really love this show because it’ll make you feel all the emotions.

mamma mia!

Mamma Mia! is a musical based on ABBA music, what more could you want? It gives me so many happy feelings.

how to lose a guy in 10 days

This is one of my favorite romantic comedies of all time. Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey play their parts so well. And who doesn’t wish to wear the iconic yellow dress Kate wears in the movie? If you’re looking for some feel-good feelings this is the one to go to.

the perks of being a wallflower

This movie is fantastic and I would watch it everyday if I could. Will it make you cry? Maybe, it makes me cry but sometimes that’s what you need. Also, the soundtrack is so good, you won’t be disappointed.

dance moms

Again, this is a show I just recently added to my list because I’ve just begun watching it (I’m on season 2). I don’t know what it is but there is something comforting about 8 year olds dancing.

These are my favorites because they make me feel good inside, if you don’t find a new comfort show based on my list, look for something that’ll give you nice feelings. Everyone’s preference is different.
