Why You Should Follow @NashvilleEats on Insta!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Vanderbilt chapter.

It’s no secret that one of the greatest things about Nashville is its endless offering of delicious, one of a kind food experiences. The general consensus remains that people come for the country music and bar hopping but come back for the restaurants and the people. @NashvilleEats on Instagram obviously feels the same way because they’ve created the best visual diary of Nashville’s best eateries. My friends and enjoy exploring restaurants and cafés around midtown and love to venture out to East Nashville every once in a while for brunch or dinner. But even though we’ve found some tried and true favorites (hello Caviar and Bananas, Le Sel, Fido, and Edgehill!), there are still so many places we’ve yet to try.

@NashvilleEats seems to find the best food in town so even if you’re not completely pulled in by the literally drool worthy Instas of gourmet mac’n’cheese and perfectly battered fried chicken, you can still use their never-ending stream of food photography to find your next favorite restaurant. I know you must be tired of eating Chuy’s every Friday and there’s only so much BarTaco one can take before you burst at the seams. I’ve been following @NashvilleEats since freshman year and every time my friends and I have needed a new restaurant to try out I’ve scrolled through their feed to find the most delicious looking dish in hopes of hitting the jackpot. They haven’t failed me yet, so the next time you’re looking for a new restaurant to hit up, follow @NashvilleEats and peruse their restaurant expertise. Plus, who doesn’t love a good photo of bacon chili cheese fries nestled between IG posts from your high school best friend’s finsta and frat party pics from last night?

She became assistant editor that year and is now the Campus Correspondent for Vanderbilt HC as a sophomore. Outside of school and her extracurriculars, Stacey finds happiness in many sources, the most crucial being exercise and the sun. She loves to attend exercise classes and is an avid runner; she recently completed the Country Music Half Marathon. She also loves Vitamin D, especially when on the beach- though of course, she only soaks up the sun after applying SPF. A few of the things Stacey couldn't live without? Good food (especially from Sweet Cece's, Bricktops, and Samurai Sushi), great books (The Hypnotist's Love Story is a recent favorite), her family back in Florida, her wonderful boyfriend, and all of the great friends she's made at Vanderbilt.
