I was sitting at my desk, wondering what to write about. What am I an expert at? I realized I am an expert on myself. Lately, I have been watching YouTube videos where YouTuber’s are sharing their unpopular opinions. My opinions are usually the norm, but as we all know, there are always those people who will disagree with you. I am a strong-minded person who seeks all factions to an issue. That is why I know how I feel about certain issues, and it would be difficult to change my mind. I acknowledge everything I love, and I am prepared to fight for it. Now here are my unpopular opinions:

I love Galaxy Phones: I’ve had Galaxy phones for most of my life and an iPhone owner will not change my perception. Everyone I know has or had an iPhone, and they have tried their best to show me the light, but I love the dark. They try to show me how great it is and no. I love my phone and all the Galaxy phones that came before it. You can try to change my mind.

I love my vegetables: I love all of my greens except for peas and asparagus. I do love other vegetables and as I try more, I love more. I could eat them all day and go without meat, especially if my mom is cooking. She is a great cook and baker. I love to roast, boil, raw, steam, saute, stir-fry, bake and grill my vegetables.

I love candy more than chocolate: My favorites are Laffy Taffy, Jolly Ranchers, Sour Patch Kids, Airheads, Starburst, Gushers and more. I love it so much that I bought a container with 150 Laffy Taffy to eat over time. Candy is sticky, chewy, juicy and delicious. Who wouldn’t want that? I would. I don’t know what it is about chocolate but it doesn’t appeal to me.

I love to read books: My favorite genre is romance. I read all the time. Reading is just like watching TV or watching a movie in my head. It gives me a vivid imagination, and it is fun to see inside a character’s head. I get to see their feelings and thoughts. I have read hundreds of books. I would call myself a crazy book reader.

This is the kid in me, but I love fruit cups, apple sauce, and Capri Sun: They are easy snacks for on the go and they taste great. You can eat them at any age. They come in so many flavors: mixed fruit, grape, tropical punch, strawberry sauce, peaches, pineapples, pears and many more flavors. My favorites are peaches and pear fruit cups.

I love to have my room or the house on 68-70 degrees: I keep it like this for most of the year. I love to wear sweats and use an extra blanket under the covers. It is a pet peeve of mine when someone complains about the temperature. They change it and don’t care about anyone else. I would prefer you to put on some clothes or put a blanket on your body.

I don’t need sex with guys to feel satisfied: Until now, I have met many girls who need a man to be satisfied; they aren’t comfortable with their sexuality by themselves. I think it is sad that boys/men can get satisfied by themselves, but a girl/woman feels it is weird, nasty and not satisfying by themselves. I feel like this helps with the perfect design of misogyny that says a woman needs a man to feel satisfied. The craziest part is that most of the time, women aren’t fully satisfied because their pleasure is not the priority. My pleasure is my priority.

We all have our own opinions. They are important and make us unique. Some judgments injure others. I want everyone to be allowed to live their truth without harming other people. We do not live in a world like that, but we can always fight for it. We fight for love, happiness and pleasure. We fight for ourselves and our beliefs.
