Let me start off by saying that I’m very excited. Why you ask? Let me show you.

Do I really need to say anything else? Should I end it right there? Alright, bye.

Just kidding. But I wanted to take this time to appreciate Jason Momoa. Born Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa, he’s a Hawaiian-born actor, model, and producer. You may know him as Khal Drogo from HBO’s Game of Thrones, or in his newest role as Aquaman in Justice League

Jason was raised in Iowa and studied marine biology and wildlife biology in college before returning to Hawaii. At 19, Jason was discovered and began his modeling career, even winning Model of the Year in 1999. He got his first big acting gig playing Jason Ioane on Baywatch Hawaii. He also traveled the world, studied painting in Paris, and learned Buddhist teachings in Tibet. Could he get any cooler?

He’s also married to the gorgeous Lisa Bonet, who you probably remember as Denise Huxtable from The Cosby Show, also known as Zoe Kravitz’s mom. They have two really cute kids together. Who doesn’t love a family man?

When he’s not stealing hearts on the big screen, Mr. Momoa rock climbs, surfs, rides motorcycles, enjoys the occasional Guinness and throws axes (???!!!).

If you’re like me and wouldn’t mind seeing more Jason Momoa on a regular basis, you can check him (and his biceps) out in Game of Thrones (Season 1), and The Red Road and Frontier on Netflix. You can find him on Instagram @prideofgypsies. Happy Monday!
