Protective, sex that is! Sex is a natural part of life. These days it seems like everyone is doing it. However, if you plan to be participating in such an act, you need to learn how to have to keep it safe. There are so many people out there that do not know their status. Sadly it’s true because some people do not care, and some are scared to check their status. You should never be any of those people if you’re going to have a sex life. If you’re not going to take your health seriously or your sex partner’s health seriously, you should not be sexually active. You are putting your life at risk and others. There are so many protective methods to choose from when you’re sexually active. Here are three ways to prevent sexual diseases or unwanted pregnancies if you plan to be sexually active. 

 

1. Abstinence from sex

Abstinence is the number one method that is 100% effective way to be protected from and STDs or unwanted pregnancies. There are also other benefits of abstinence other than protecting yourself from sexual diseases and unwanted pregnancies. These benefits are waiting until you find the right person to have a sexual relationship with, focusing on important things like school, careers, or hobbies. You can gain so much from abstinence. It is just figuring out what goal you will like to achieve when choosing to go abstinence.

2. Wear protection

The original protective is the male condom, and there’s even a female condom. So, there no excuses!  When you wear a condom, you lower your chances of catching or spreading an STD. When you choose to use a condom, you have to make sure you use it correctly. Just because you use a condom does not mean you are protected. You have to use it correctly to be protected. For example, make sure the condom is placed correctly in the designated area. Make sure that the condom expiration date is not expired. A condom can expire. So it’s always safe to check condom before use.

3. Get Tested

Always know your status. Knowing your status means you will have a healthy sex life. Knowing where you stand and your sexual partner stand heads you to a road of healthy sex planning. You know what measures you have to take to prevent yourself and your partner from getting any sexual disease. It is always important to get tested when you change sex partners. Never have a sexual relationship with someone who doesn’t know their status. They lack education and concern about your health or theirs.  Yes, there are so many hot rap songs that we are listening to from generation-to-generation, that influences many people in their sexual life. Which makes sex looks cool to be doing, with whoever without thinking about the consequences. In the real-life, it’s always important to take your sex life serious. Never be part of the crowd that doesn’t think, knowing your status or protecting yourself from any sexual disease should not be taken seriously. Remember, always protect yourself no matter how you decide to choose, to protect yourself.
