Absolutely adorable, isn’t she? I met with Lisa and got a chance to ask her a few questions about herself, and I learned quite a bit about her! The bad news fellas: she’s taken.
HC: So tell me the basics, Lisa.
Lisa Dowden: Well, my name is Lisa Dowden, and I’m 20. Lisa is my middle name, but my first name is complicated [laughs]. I’m a sophomore.
HC: Where are you from?
LD: I was born in Thailand, but I moved to Warner Robins when I was 8.
HC: What’s your zodiac sign?
LD: I’m a Virgo
HC: What about your relationship status?
LD: I’m in a relationship with my boyfriend Travis.
HC: Aw, what do you guys like to do?
LD: Well, our favorite place to eat is Passage to India; it’s right by Blazin’ Wings. It’s authentic Indian food, and it’s really good. Travis is in a club and they play dungeons and dragons, and I play with them sometimes. I usually spend alot of time in the library and studying due to my major.
HC: What’s your major?
LD: It’s pre-nursing
HC: Sounds tough! You must do alot of studying.
LD: I do. I’m almost always in the library or the labs.
HC: That explains the bookbag and coffee. [laughs]
LD: It does! [laughs]
HC: Do you have a favorite memory from being here at VSU?
LD: A favorite memory would have to be the first freshman move-in day. Everything was new and things were changing. It was hard being without my parents.
HC: And if you could describe yourself in one word what would it be?
LD: Friendly! I’m really nice.
