Campus Cutie Joslin Buckner ’16

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Valdosta chapter.
Meet Joslin Buckner! She’s a third year nursing student with aspirations of becoming a nurse. Not only is she beautiful in looks, but she has a great personality to match which  makes her this week’s campus cutie!

Name: Joslin Buckner

Hometown: Columbus, GA

Classification: Junior

Zodiac Sign: Capricorn

Relationship Status: Single

Major: Nursing

HC: What made you choose VSU?

Joslin: I fell in love with the campus as soon as I saw it. It’s a beautiful view pretty much anywhere you stand. I also like that it’s close to my hometown and the beach.

HC: As far as guys go, what are some turn-ons and also, turn-offs?

Joslin: I usually go for guys that are tall, funny, independent, ambitious and intelligent. Turn-offs for me are short guys, liars, guys with no sense of humor, and too controlling.

HC: What do you do in your spare time?

Joslin: I’m so chill. I really enjoy my me time, so in my spare time I’m usually eating good and watching Netflix.

HC: Describe yourself in three words.

Joslin: Sarcastic, funny, and dedicated.

HC: What’s your idea of a perfect date?

Joslin: I don’t really have an ideal date. I would rather have a guy just do something well thought out. I’ll definitely appreciate that more. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy or costly, just thoughtful.

HC: Who’s your celebrity crush?

Joslin: Lance Gross!

HC: What’s the most important thing to you in a relationship?

Joslin: Definitely communication. We have to be able to talk about anything, especially if there’s a problem. I want us to be best friends that can say whatever is on our minds.

HC: What motivates you?

Joslin: My family and friends motivate me. I want to make my family proud and I want me and my friends to be able to reap the benefits of working hard, so we can all break bread together [laughs].

HC: Where do you see yourself in ten years?

Joslin: Hopefully working as a nurse, living comfortably with a family. I definitely want to be established in my career and do a little traveling first.
