Especially during Halloween, when you want to be different. Below are some quick, cute and creative Halloween costume ideas that’ll make sure you beat even the hipsters!

1. Scary Spice

Wannabe a creative rocker for Halloween? Look no further! This costume will be sure to spice up the competition!

What You’ll Need:

  • Time to bring out the curling iron!
  • For cones like Scary Spice, just take some plastic cups and wrap your hair around them and use ribbon to tie them up
  • Leopard or metallic clothes
  • Boots!
  • Arm jewelry

2. Cher & Dionne

Before Iggy made plaid and blazers fancy, it was Cher and Dionne who set the trend! Why not be these trendsetters for Halloween?!

What You’ll Need:

  • Plaid blazer and skirt (try thrifting!)
  • Floral prints
  • Hat
  • Knee-High Socks
  • An “as IF!” attitude

3. Wednesday Addams

Halloween is also about being scary! Why not be Wednesday Addams? Be cool, calm and collected and have your mean demeanor scare others.

What You’ll Need:

  • Braid your hair into two low ponytails (if you don’t have dark hair, try a rinse!)
  • White collared shirt
  • Black sweater and skirt combo or a black dress
  • Black tights/stockings
  • Black boots, shoes or sneakers

4. Orange is the New Black

What You’ll Need:

Generally:

  • Orange or beige scrubs

Specific Characters:
