This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Valdosta chapter.

Blazers, our spring break is right around the corner! The weather is getting warm, the sun is always out, and the breezes make hanging out on the beach and traveling a great experience. Whether you are traveling with friends with the windows down in your car, sitting on a beach with a boom box or just hanging out with friends at home, these are five songs that should definitely be on your Spring Break playlist!

1. Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO

This song is definitely a head banger! It’s great for listening to before house parties or going out for a night on the town!

2. Teenage Dream by Katy Perry

This song is perfect to play when traveling on road trips with your friends! The video is literally Katy Perry in a vehicle with the top down, having a blast with her friends, proving that this song will definitely get you in a great mood!

3. 22 by Taylor Swift

Being that we all are in college, whether you are a freshmen or senior, we are all around the age of 22. The lyrics to this song are sure to brighten slower moments on spring break when the adrenaline slows down. The lyrics really make you want to get up and just enjoy life being young!

4. Party by Beyonce

Queen Bey is known for making anthems for the ladies! This song is great to belt out with your friends regardless of the setting. I’m sure everyone will know the words and if not at first, then they surely will by the end of the song!

5.  Please Don’t Stop The Music by Rihanna

Being that this song is a throwback, it’s sure to resonate some 2007 preteen girl feelings within all of us! This was one of Rihanna’s greatest hits! The techno feel and hip hop bass of instrumentation definitely will have everyone up dancing and singing their hearts out!
